BTDG: Ro-Ro Terminal

Part of the terminal dedicated to Ro-Ro transhipments spreads along the Basin V of the Port of Gdynia . Initiated on the 1st August 2001, consists of three modern ramps, newely built or refurbished warehouses, sheds, and strengthened open storage areas:

Equipment

The terminal operates modern equipment such as:
    gantry crane, and reach stacker, both of 45t capacity, SISU ro-ro tractors, RT trailers (60T), CLARK and CALMAR fork lifts, including those for high stowage.

  • Shed B - 4 143 m2 gross
  • Storage area XIX - 31 000 m2 (ca. 5 000 m2 excluded as a parking - ferry transshipment); 112 numerically stamped trailer storage places
  • Storage area XVII - 14 000 m2, up to 688 TEUs; 60 electric sockets
  • Storage area XVII N - 3 000 m2 20 places for containers with dangerous goods (classes: 1 - 9)
